About Me

I graduated from Bristol University with a first class degree and two prizes in English Literature. Since graduating, I have worked as a professional playwright and television writer, alongside my tuition work with students of all ages.

I have successfully tutored students for many of London’s top independent and grammar schools, including Alleyn’s, City of London, KGS, Hampton, Ibstock, JAGs, Latymer Upper, Putney High, St Catherine's, St Paul’s and Surbiton High.

As well as comprehensive coverage of the syllabus, my aim with every student is to build confidence, passion and a love of language.

My philosophy for tuition is grounded in the belief that finding the joy and excitement in a subject unlocks potential and attainment. I offer tuition from my home office in Herne Hill, at the homes of students living locally, or via Skype for students further afield. I teach at the following levels:
